Journey To Gujarat November 2014

Its origins are still to be researched.
It is presumed to have been painted and probably presented to him
after his final return from Gujarat in 1863
Mrs Margaret Rankin a grand daughter of Annie Crawford (a daughter of James and Mary Glasgow) gave it to John when moving to a smaller house.
Presumably it came from her grandmother.
